Personally I have Musashi, but I've been using other ships in Ranked as I don't like it that much.

Your planes die to anything and most don't survive the run, so you run out pretty fast. The dive bomb spread is insane and its impossible to get more than one or two bombs on target. Its biggest weakness is that it can't damage DDs. I play it a lot and it really isn't that amazing anymore. I hate the ship because she's from a time WG thought ships like belfast (the OG) were a good idea.ĭisagree with the Chaklov. which is why when she downtiers it tends to be a nasty fight. Ill be frank her power is that shes a slightly worse yamato but a tier lower opposed to some vastly different ship. Yes a CV is her counter but the problem is that her weakness is also countered by her (899 divs exist for a reason after all) and that only works if your carrier does good damage (RN carriers get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again by bad bomb pen) eh tbh musashi is one of the few where she is mainly OP because her MM. And it's a dead bird if there's a CV in the match cause it has almost no AA, is a slug, and prob one of the easiest ships in the game for any CV to hit. Ranked changes constantly to fit most play styles and is just new fun modes for those who want to play them. Some ships like Tirpitz which aren't great performers in general were nearly broken there. They don't balance ships with those modes in mind. The fact that one or two are OP in a T8-9 Ranked is nothing to worry over or that WG will even look at. I can go into detail as to my reasoning if requested. I consider CVs gamebreaking, especially in 6v6, so I would list almost all of them here, but I'll instead just list the ones that are most suited to this mode/are flat out broken even for CVs: Prinz Heinrich (note: this is the only ship on the list I don't think is overpowered normally, it's just the scale of the mode tilts the balance massively in favour of this ship) I would say the following ships are overpowered in this gamemode: Musashi's cheek citadel weakness and generally poor handling make it not as totally broken in this mode as it is normally. Can't say there are more It is, but there are others that are worse in a 6v6 close range gamemode.
